To whoever is looking to work with a top-notch real estate agent, property manager, and all-around great person - I highly recommend connecting with Mike Jones. I was introduced to Mike through a friend and so grateful for the support he has provided me over the past couple of years. What started as a very relaxed conversation about the steps in becoming a first-time homeowner to receiving potential leads to review within a few days. Absolutely zero pressure to buy or even start the official process, Mike got me used to just looking at what was taking place in the market. Plans changed, and buying was put on hold when I decided to move to Orange County. Not a region that Mike typically oversaw however he jumped right in and helped me with all of the necessary steps to getting a new condo to lease. Starting a new job and moving to a new city, Mike went above and beyond- I mean full-blown project manager to the rescue. After getting all settled in, I decided it was time to rethink the whole 'buying' my first home. Again, Mike to the rescue. With a bit of a change to the search criteria and 1:1 education around the buying process - we were off to the races. From getting prepared to submit loan applications, vetting out different loan officers, explaining everything to me in detail (101 - so I could understand), checking in on progress made, holding me to deadlines, and organized so we did not miss anything. I could not have asked to work with a more patient and selfless person that would take a call at any time of the day. Single and buying your first home can be a little nerve-racking - Mike was so encouraging/motivating. Proactively reaching out to set dates for him to drive an hour up to OC to look at properties with me. Any time there were inspections or meetings even with the banks, Mike was happy to make himself available. We closed on my first house, and don't think that my experience would have been the same without him. Even after the close date, I received calls to make sure that I was settling in and everything that was pending (repairs, etc.) was being taken care of. Coming up on a year in my new condo, my friend Mike still gets an occasional call from me - luckily for me, he picks up to answer my questions. Professional, detailed-oriented, organized, proactive, and truly is focused on representing his client. No hidden agendas, no pressure, no fly by selling relationship. Mike has set the bar high for what I would look for in a real estate/property manager.
